Stout Auction of West Middlesex, PA is honored to have been selected to sell the John G. Schleicher Ives train and memorabilia collection.\u00a0 John is a personal friend since 1983 and we have a lot of fond memories in train collecting over the past 39 years.\u00a0 John was very persistent and patient in searching out the absolute best original condition examples he could find.\u00a0 His attention to detail is evident by the high quality and completeness of his train collection. John had a real passion in assembling his incredible Ives collection, which focused on the time period 1900-1915.\u00a0 He is recognized as having one of the finest and most extensive collection of early Ives O gauge trains, accessories and paper, based on condition and rarity. \u00a0John is a member of the Ives Society, TCA #83-19911 and past TCA president of the Southern Division. The first 210 lots will feature John\u2019s Ives collection.<\/p>\n

The remainder of the auction will feature Ives wide gauge, Lionel prewar standard gauge and O gauge, Lionel postwar trains and accessories from the estate of Richard A. Hofmeister and Tony Battaglia.
