Part one  of this sale will feature the second part of a massive G scale collection including an Aster Hudson, Accucraft narrow gauge locomotives, LGB, large amounts of Ariso Craft and USA Trains aluminum passenger cars, high end sets and more. There are over 300 lots of G scale!

The second part of this auction will feature three rail trains from various collections including a number of scale freight cars, large quantities of Lionel Fastrack, scale Lionel and MTH diesel and steam, and more.

The third and final part of this sale will feature part one of the collection of Jack Wheelihan to round out our November 30th sale.

Jack, a third-generation railroader, spent a number of years employed by EMD and also spent a large amount of time helping to further mainline steam railroading in the 1970’s and beyond. Jack fired not only for the American Freedom Train with Southern Pacific 4449, but also Union Pacific with numerous hours in the left-hand seat of 3985 and 844.

These decades of experience combined with a passion for correct details led Jack to create a stunning model railroad with an outstanding roster to match. Jack is one of the early founders of the three-rail scale movement. Nearly all items in his collection have been weathered with great precision and have had additional detailing added. All locomotives and rolling stock retain their ability to operate on three rail track but have been converted over to O scale couplers.

Not only did Jack focus on the outer appearance of the trains, but he also leveraged his long-standing relationships with Lionel, 3rd Rail, and MTH in order to get correct sounds placed in his locomotives even when they were factory delivered with different sounds.

Items from Jack’s collection truly are works of art with one of a kind detailing and features that will be right at home on the most detailed O gauge layouts. Don’t miss an opportunity to own some of these outstanding trains.
