The entire collection will be sold with no reserves. Ron was a personal friend and I have many great memories of times we shared together as fellow collectors. It is with mixed feelings that I am bringing his collection to market. Ron Johnson had a real passion in assembling his amazing collection of trains and toys however more importantly to Ron were the friendships he developed and cherished over his lifetime of collecting. His collection is very diverse spanning the prewar and postwar eras. This high quality collection with emphasis on the original boxes features many manufacturers including; Lionel, Ives, American Flyer, Marx, Buddy L and others. The toy train community will not be the same without Ron’s smile and warm engaging personality. He will be missed as a collector but more importantly as a genuine friend.
