Auction: April 6th, 2018 – The FINAL part of the Jim Seacrest O scale collection.
Last year, Stout Auctions had the honor of selling the collection of Jim Seacrest. This massive collection took almost five auctions to complete. Or so we thought. Late in the year, we received a phone call from the Seacrest family offering us one more trailer filled with trains from Jim’s collection. As you can see in the photos, there are plenty of quality pieces remaining.
We have also added a second large west coast O scale collection to this auction. A number a older brass locomotives from KTM, Max Gray, Varney, Thomas Industries, Adams and Son, and Scale Model Industries are included. There will be over 500 lots of O scale two rail.
Our Friday sale will conclude with an outstanding HO Baltimore and Ohio collection with over 100 lots of brass HO locomotives and rolling stock, large groups of quality rolling stock, building kits and more. This is one of the most focused collection we have seen in a very long time. The quality is outstanding with manufactures including Overland, Pacific Fast Mail, Key Imports, Precision Scale Co. and others. If it was offered in Baltimore and Ohio in HO, there is a strong possibility that it is in this sale. The rolling stock is also outstanding with Tangent Models, Fox Valley, Intermountain, large groups of Athearn and Walthers, and more.
