Bob Ford, TCA #82-18470, has been collecting trains since 1980 when he saved his childhood trains from a garage sale his parents were planning. Bob assembled his collection as a family hobby along with his wife Kay and son Rob. The Bob Ford collection is recognized as one of the premiere Lionel Postwar collections based on his commitment to search out the very best quality in original condition and his dedication to identify all variations including rare examples and prototypes.
His Postwar collection is expansive and includes; boxed sets, locomotives, motorized items, rolling stock, accessories, separate sale and service station items with many mint in their original boxes.
Bob had a passion for military and space items and his favorite is a factory sealed 1591 military set.
