If you are not comfortable coming to preview, we are happy to answer additional questions pertaining to the upcoming auctions items. Stout Auctions shipping will also continue as normal. We ask that you do not come to the gallery for a private preview if you have been exposed or show any symptoms of a potential sickness. Live online bidding on our website: All registered bidders may bid in real time at www.stoutauctions.com as lots sell in the auctions.  The auctions begin at 10:00AM on all live auction days.

  • Pre-live bidding on our website: Registered bidders may leave a maximum bid on our website at any time until approximately 30 minutes before the auction goes live. All absentee bids are confidentially held by the 3rd party bidding system – Invaluable.  Stout Auctions nor anyone else has access to your top bid so you can put in your max bid with confidence that it will be executed competitively on your behalf.
  • Reminder:  Stout Auctions offers two types of auctions.  The first type, and the main auctions that we always call LIVE AUCTIONS.  These happen as they normally have for decades but for the three auctions listed below there will be no live component.  An auctioneer and a clerk will still accept bids, show fair warnings and close each auction lot.   The second type of auction what ONLINE ONLY, these do not have an auctioneer and a clerk running them as they have a set closing time that is controlled by a computer.  These include the dynamic bid feature which extends the closing by 5 minutes if someone bids in the last 1 minute of the sale allowing people plenty of time to increase their bids.
